My Weekly Yoga Lab Classes

  • Strong Foundations (Level 1-2) Mondays 5:30 - 6:30pm

    Tap into your strength and gain strong foundations with Yoga Lab co-founder Anna Engels! This class focuses on understanding foundational elements of a strong yoga practice, including alignment of yoga postures and transitions (inversions included), the power of the breath, and use of props to support your practice. Learn about common muscular imbalances and how to build strength and flexibility were needed to bring balance to the body and mind. Yoga Teachers get Continuing Ed Hours!

  • Power Lunch

    Power Lunch (Level 2-3) Wednesdays & Fridays 12-1pm

    This class builds on the Strong Foundations flow from Monday, but on Wednesday we Power it UP with more challenge! This invigorating, playful, and challenging Level 2-3 class will get you moving and sweating, building heat from working your core and playing upside down. Followed by an optional vegan lunch from Webster's cafe delivered right after class! So you can pack in some midday movement and still have a great healthy meal on your lunch break.   • Quiet (Level 1) Wednesdays 6:45 - 7:30pm

    Calm. Your nervous system. Down. This Quiet class with Anna is designed to be a soothing balm for our overstimulated culture. How rare is it to find quiet nowadays? This 45-min class cultivates a quiet atmosphere with no music, minimal cueing, restorative poses with props, breathing practices, mindfulness meditation, and some slow gentle flow too. You may find that when you quiet your external environment, the mind feels quite noisy. That's ok. Learn to be with what is present. Drop into being mode instead of doing mode. Notice thoughts, sensations, and emotions as they arrive and hold them gently in a larger compassionate awareness. See if through slow and gentle movement, focused awareness of the breath, and supported rest in a quiet space, the fluctuations of the mind begin to quiet too. Yoga Teachers get Continuing Ed Hours!

  • Outdoor Yoga at Happy Valley Winery

    TGIF Happy Hour - Outdoor Yoga at Happy Valley Winery (All Levels) Fridays 4:30 - 5:30pm

    Join Anna for TGIF Happy Hour with Outdoor Yoga at Happy Valley Vineyard & Winery! Come for a yoga class to unwind any tension from the week. We'll practice outdoors on the lawn next to the winery, with sunny and shaded areas available. Class is suitable for all levels - beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome. After class ends at 5:30pm you can go home, or feel free to stay after class to partake of what the winery has to offer! The winery offers wine tastings until 5:50pm and live music starts at 6pm. Yoga, community, nature, live music, wine - what a lovely way to spend a Friday. TGIF - it's time to unwind at the winery!
