Strong Foundations Tonight - Flip The Snow Globe!

Strong Foundations Theme Tonight at Yoga Lab:
"Snow Day – Let’s Flip the Snow Globe!"

What do you do on a snowy day? We get caught in our little bubble of routine, our own little snow globe of habit. How about we shake it up a bit? Go upside down! Flip it! See what that reveals, what’s hidden underneath. What are the things that matter that you haven’t noticed in a while?

The things you know you love, that support your health and well-being, that bring you joy - sometimes they end up on the back burner. Maybe for good reasons, but maybe not. Perhaps you forget them because they’re covered with the snowy stuff of daily life - other responsibilities, fires to put out, laundry, shows to binge watch on Netflix, or a self-imposed contingency where you think you have to accomplish something else before you can spend time on yourself or something you love. The list of reasons can pile up into huge snow drifts!

But what would happen if you flip it? Turn that snow globe upside down! See what’s been covered, notice something that brings you joy – and try putting one of those things first. Take time for self-care, for music, for play, for love, for friends, for moving with the breath, for rest. Let’s flip the snow globe tonight to see what really matters with greater clarity.

Hope to see you there!
