I always get so FIRED UP studying with Lara Heimann! Just spent another great weekend at her latest 500hr Module-- Upper and Lower Extremity Anatomy & Therapeutics. I'm so excited to process and integrate everything I learned into my practice and teaching.
Here's a little tip - I asked Lara about ways to develop more "pull" strength in yoga. How about a handstand pushup?! The eccentric muscle action involved in controlling the descent is a great strengthener similar to starting in a pull-up and slowly lowering. And so much fun!
